With this phrase, Pope Francis opens the 'Bull of Indiction' [aka a papal bull:)] declaring the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy that opened yesterday.
This Year of Grace is a tremendous blessing. 
There are and there will be so very many tremendous opportunities to acknowledge and celebrate this coming year. We will keep everyone posted about events and opportunities near and far as they come.
The most important aspect of this year, however, is for all of us to have a deep and profound and personal encounter with Mercy, with the Lord Jesus Christ.
This holy season of Advent, the time when we cry "Come Lord Jesus", is a perfect time to set our hearts to receive Him, now and again and again and again.
Let us not be afraid; He comes with healing and forgiveness; in a word, with mercy.
Let us give the Lord a Christmas gift this year; let us let Him love us!
